About me. The Photographer
What can I tell you...I'm blessed with two beautiful little girls, a loving husband, a dilly dog, a fat cat and a job that I adore. I am a self-taught photographer who believes there is extraordinary in the ordinary and beauty in every face - It's just a matter of how you look at things. With my children growing up so quickly I am constantly reminded of how time marches on and life changes. With that in mind, I try and tell your story in a way that captures the essence of your family and the spirit of the moment. In years to come these images will still bring a smile to your face and perhaps the odd tear to your eye.
About your experience. The Session
The session is all about you and your family. We shoot in a place where you are comfortable and happy. No studio - I don't even have one. After all, this is not my story, it is yours. Where you live or where you play - that's where we will find your smile and laughter. To get the best from a family portrait session, you need to be yourself, so no intimidating lights, backdrops or soft boxes, only natural light, possibly a bit of fill-in flash and the rest is up to our imagination.
About your investment. The Package
Families, children, teenager and pregnancy portraits
My session fee is $200
Each session lasts approximately 2 hours. A half hour pre-session visit is also included during which time we discuss the look and feel of your portrait shoot including clothing and location.
The session is at your home or a location of your choice
Actors Headshots
Starting Price $250
Each session lasts approximately 1 hour. Although we work quite quickly during this session, I do extensive research and work closely with you and your agency prior to the shoot - I shoot with the aim to ensure that your headshots accurately interpret and reflect the characters that you will ideally audition for. No studio shots - we work on location to really get the look and feel and bring out these personas.

Corporates, Small Business and Editorial
I will work with you to offer a bespoke service - Imagery that best highlights what you and your company have to offer through your corporate communications, websites or catalogues. Please contact me directly so that we can discuss your requirements.
About your vision. The Product
Knowing what to do with your images can be time-consuming and overwhelming. I offer a range of quality presentation products from bespoke timber framing to beautifully bound albums/ "story books" and contemporary acrylic frames to showcase your memories in. I will work with you, taking time to find the best options for you and your home. Most of my clients invest on average $1500 but there is no minimum spend and no pressure sales - That's just not my style. For a full price list and more information please contact me.
A few more details.
- Session prices will be confirmed on booking.
- Your session includes unlimited shots taken on the day, digital processing and a viewing of your edited images in the comfort of your own home two to three weeks after the session.
- A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. This will guarantee that your session is reserved for you in the diary. The remaining balance is due one week before the day of the session.* If you do need to cancel, please allow me as much notice as possible. If less than 48 hours' notice, a cancellation charge may apply.
- Digital negatives are not included in any package and as all images are protected by Australian copyright laws, I would be most grateful if you would not copy, download or reproduce any of the images either at home or at a retail photo lab. I want you to be as happy with the quality of your reprints as I am proud of them. All of my reprints are expertly and professionally printed, finished and framed to show them to their best advantage and to ensure longevity. After all, these are your memories and my reputation at stake.
- I like to keep my portfolio and publicity material fresh and exciting so there is a chance that some of your images may be used on my website or in other promotional material. Your photographs will only be used in the context of promoting Knoll Photography and client details and confidentiality are respected at all times.
- For locations over a 100km round trip a surcharge may be applicable
